Well Week 1 was a huge success, netting a 4-1 ATS Record, but we stumbled a bit on TNF to start-off Week 2. I like the Sunday Card & I think we'll make some money this week!
Week 2 Picks:
Dallas +3.5 @ Tennessee
Dallas just looked awful last week, namely Tony Romo. I think I saw every Romo Meme ever created posted on my facebook after that game, lol. I think Tony was still a bit rusty & will be extra thorough with the gameplan for this week. I do like Jake Locker a lot, I've always been vocal about that, but I'm not terribly fond of the Titans rushing attack. I think this game has a good chance of being a shootout so if you like the Over, I'd have to agree with you... but assuming it does become a high-scoring affair, I'll take Romo and his weapons over Locker and his. (Laying 2 Units)
Dallas @ Tennessee Over 49.5
As I stated above, I think this one has the potential to be a shootout. Locker should be able to move the ball all day on Dallas poor Defensive unit. Romo will also get his, as I could see a combined 6 Passing TDs between these 2 QBs in this high-scoring affair. (Laying 2 Units)
Detroit +2.5 @ Carolina
Cam returning obviously bodes well for the Panthers but lets be honest, Derek Anderson played incredibly well, just as well as Cam may have if he suited up... But this wont be Tampa's weak defense facing off against Carolina, Detroit's defensive line if physical and nasty. D. Will being out doesn't overly excite me, as J-Stew is just as capable. I also don't think Olsen will run amuck against Detroit's defense, as they'll definitely gameplan more efficiently for him. Detroit's new offensive scheme looked great and seems like it'll be fun to watch, as their personnel seems more or less perfect (minus Ebron as Graham, he's just not there yet). Carolina's offensive line is still pretty bad and Detroit's defensive line has the physicality to take full advantage of it. (Laying 2.5 Units)
San Diego +5.5 vs. Seattle
I was pleasantly surprised to be getting anything over 3.5 here, but I guess you cant blame Vegas after how mediocre SD looked on the Road, botching opportunity after opportunity lastwk, coupled with how Great Seattle looked in wk1, plus they got 10 days rest. The Super Chargers will capitalize on their every opportunity this week & possibly Win a squeaker versus the defending Superbowl champs... whether they Win or Lose, it will be a close outcome. (Laying 3 Units)
Cincinnati -4.5 vs. Atlanta
Atlanta's offense looked incredible during week 1's shootout versus the Saints. There are a few reasons why they wont look close to as good, first being Matt Ryan is always way better at home, he's a notorious home-gamer. Secondly, Atlanta's always much worse offensively on the road, especially on Grass surfaces. and Thirdly, Cinci's defense is much more physical than the Saints defense. I think Cincinnati will utilize their bruising back more, Jeremy Hill, & hammer the rock on the ground. I fully expect the Falcons front 7 to get dominated at the line of scrimmage by Cinci's offensive unit, creating gaping holes for Gio & Hill to run through. This game will be Won/Lost at the line of scrimmage. *Also Worth Noting* Atlanta's Left Tackle Jake Matthews is Out, which may create mismatches for the Bengals Defensive front & I'd be willing to bet they Sack Matt Ryan Multiple Times. (Laying 3.5 Units)
