NE@BUF - NE is about to walk into a buzzsaw. Best defense in the league run by the best defensive coach in football, at home, in a season defining game for the Bills before NE has had time to completely click on offense.
NE is the better team, and I expect they'll blow the bills out when they meet again in Foxx later this year, but for one week at the Ralph, it sure as heck won't look like it.
PICK -> BUF ML +105 (MAX BET 3X)
SF@PITT - I bet SF at home, but don't be fooled, this is still not a good team. They take the show on the road vs a hungry angry PIT team. Yes the defense isn't the same, and Pouncy and some of his boys are out, and we're giving a lot of points, but the slow plodding SF OFF shouldn't be able to keep up with the best receiving corp in the NFL on their own turf.
Only thing keeping me from max betting is how scary good Carlos Hyde looked week one. If SF can somehow get an early lead and limit the # of possessions for PITT they could cover.
PICK -> PITT -6 (2x)
DET@MINN - Det, a historically bad traveling team takes on a team that looked like one of the worst in football on primetime. But wait... they're favored? Money flooding in on DET, and while sometimes it is just that easy, in this case I believe DET is fools gold.
Outside of one good drive against SD they looked lost and uncoordinated. MINN returns home, where AD will look to avenge his poor performance, and Bridgewater will be back in his comfort zone throwing td passes to Wallace against a DET secondary that gave up the most yds passing in week 1.
MINN -> -2 (2x)
TENN@CLEV - Rookie QB on the road against a defensive minded coach Pettine(Rex disciple) who got embarrassed week one and are now heading home to take out their frustration on a green QB everyone is ready to anoint. Take the points, take the barking dog pound.
PICK -> Dog Pound ML +115 (2x)
