9-9 YTD -1.25

I'll post opening lines as soon as I get them, ill leave comments if I have an opinion and wont if I don't.  I'm big on daily fantasy so feel free to leave any comments you have about that...

Week 7 Opening Lines

Bears@Packers, Pack -9 O/U47
Im a huge Bears fan, but they suck.  I think they have an underrated front 7, but if Rodgers gets time to throw they don't stand a chance.  Pack have a stout run D which should be able to contain Howard and limit anything that the Bears can get going.  Remember, Chicago went into Green Bay and won last year... Pack will be up for this game.  I'll lean Pack -9

Giants@Rams, Giants -3 O/U43.5
Heard a stat today that no starting QB since 2004 has more losses and interceptions than Eli Manning.  I know the Rams were down some corners this week and haven't heard an update, but it's hard not to like them this week.  They under perform when you love them, and over perform when you count them out.  I saw Covers had a little write up about this game, and made a comment about it being a long time for the Rams to be away from friends and family for 10 straight days because they are flying to London right away.... lol... come on... these guys are Pros... 10 days away from familys isn't anything.  I lean Rams here.

Vikings@Eagles Vikings -2.5 O/U40
Eagles are on a 2 game skid and everyone loves them some Minnesota.  People have to realize that Sam Bradford is still Sam Bradford.  I anticipate people pounding the Vikings and this line growing.  If it gets to 3.5 or greater, it will be hard not to take Philly here in a bounce back.

New Orleans@KC KC-6.5 O/U49.5
Drew Brees is a different guy on the road.  It's been proven.  Lean KC.

Skins@Lions Lions -2 O/U48.5
I am big on Washington right now.  Everyone wanted to count out Cousins a few weeks ago, but they have strung together a 4 game winning streak and he is playing well.  Lions riding high after 2 big wins... I expect a good game here... lean under.

Browns@Bengals Bengals -9.5 O/U46
Sooner or later the Browns will win.  They have been in just about every game this year.  Not touching this one. 

Bills@Miami Bills -2.5 O/U44,5
Not sure what to make of this one.  Bills are hot and Miami just upset the Steelers after looking horrible to this point in the season.  This line tells me that on a neutral field Miami would be favored... and that doesn't make sense to me. 

Raiders@Jacksonville Jags -2 O/U49
Initial thoughts are that this one flies over.  Oakland averages about 6 yards per play ranking 4th in the league, but gives up about 7 yards per play on D ranking dead last.  Id take Jacksonville -2 and O49


Chargers@Falcons ATL -6 O/U51
No real comment.  Quinn let one slip away in Seattle so I am sure they will be ready to go.  Would lean Falcons but this is a crappy game.

Bucs@9ers TB -2 O/U47
Bucs D is horrible.  Hard to like them favored over any team on the road.  Let alone across the country.  Lean SF here with a gun to my head.


That's it for now... I haven't gotten into these games at all so once I do I will post plays.  Same for Fantasy.... would like to post players I am big on for the upcoming week and hear the same from you.

Just reading through and made a mistake on the Bills/Dolphins... Neutral would mean Bills favored by more.  There was a reason why it didn't make sense me

As a huge Pack fan, I struggle to take them -9 vs anyone the way there playing. Something isnt right with the offense. Rodgers making mistakes he normally doesn't. 9 is to much for a division battle imo.

I Also have the same feel about the jags, I cant see how they can keep up with Raiders explosive offense, Bortles has been garbage so far.

I had Ajayi and Terrance West in every lineup this week. Unfortunately I also had Tavon Austin and Antonio Brown. I cashed in 3/5 of my lineups for 100% cash third week in a row.

Not donating anymore!

Here's my biggest play of the week in DFS is Kirk Cousins. I almost played Case Keenum last week, and he woul have won me quite a bit I suspect.

I'm one of the contenders for the $50,000 prize in the prime time slate. I missed on Hopkins over t.y. Hilton so I'm going contrarian with Enunwa and John Brown.

any thoughts on the patriots steelers game I personally like the steelers +7.5 points if you can get it. Steelers  playing at home after a loss. I think Landry Jones will be ready for the patriots.  Also i think these back up QBs all are fighting to get a starting job. Some QB as of recent come to mind Kirk Cousins Washington Brock Osweiler, Houston, Dak Prescott Dallas, Aron Rodgers,Green Bay. All these guys came in as back ups. Dont be fooled into thinking well Jones is back up he cant win. 96% of the betting public is betting the Patriots. Fade the public here.

But like 90% of the public was on New England when they thrashed Cleveland. I think it's either take the fave or pass here (or tease it), no way I trust my money with Landry Jones he's awful.

Interesting a lot of people thought the same about QB Trevor Siemian of the Broncos was awful.Trevor played the opening game against Carolina  and smashed them.By the way dont compare the orange crush browns against pittsburgh. No comparison. Pittsburgh wins championships unlike cleveland. The only good thing about Cleveland is they tend to win the points spread and generally under rated against the point spread example the won the pointspread against the titans last week.

You would think Pitt would bounce back and play well after their no show in Miami.  The thing is I just don't feel comfortable betting against New England with the way they are playing.  Good luck.

I like Cousins this week as well.  I had a decent week.  Only thing that saved me was having Kenny Britt and Golden Tate in the same lineup.  I am liking Cousins as well. I'll be posting my favorite players later in the week.  Good luck with the 50K.  That'd be sick

my 2 cents on the pack vs. bears:

Pack Offense:
  • Everyone might be betting on the pack fixing their offense or whatever is wrong with them and that they will come alive. They are trending in the wrong direction and until they start trending the other way, i'll bet on them not to. I just don't think they have enough time to do it between sunday and thursday.
  • 3rd game in 12 days (also the same for the bears) but the pack are hurting at key positions: rb (starks out, lacy hobbled w/ not much rest), wr adams w/ concussion i believe, cb another concussion problem. 
  • rodgers was pressured even less than the week before and looked worse. 28.6% vs. 13%. 
  • up to now their only productive offensive game (as far as what i've come to expect from rodgers and co) was against the lions worst ranked defense.
Bears:
  • I believe they come out more aggressive. both alshon and fox expressed frustration in their offensive efficiency and settling for field goals. a team at 1-5 w/ nothing to lose and everything to gain w/ an aggressive mindset can be a dangerous team. i think you can change your aggressiveness and take more chances. The pack offensive problems are a bit more complex. 
  •  If the pack are hurting at the cb position and had trouble with beasly and butler, i think they have even more trouble w/ alshon and meredith.
Defense:
  • It's hard to prepare for a team in only 3 days but it really helps when you are familiar with them, and that happens here with a divisional game. we get a better game than expected. bears were ranked better in dvoa than the cowboys if that helps. 
  • packers offensive struggles coupled w/ injuries on defensive side, give the bears a better chance against the pack D.
With that said, not as confident as i was about taking the boys at +4 but I'm  making it a small play and buy 1/2 to take the bears +10. Just so to make my thursday interesting. BOL FELLAS!!
