That is if you consider preseason football an actual game.
Cincy vs Dallas 8/8/10
I remember the Packers looked unbeatable last year in the preseason and then came out and went 4-4 the first 8 games and didn't look very good doing it.
Preseason means absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things.
Haven't studied it but I'm guessing that you are better off just betting the teams that looked horrible in the preseason for the first few weeks of the season. I bet you go 50-50 at the very worst.

I like to bet small on the preseasom games just to get my feet wet again betting football. After 8 months of betting basketball and a little bit of baseball it takes me a few games to get used to the pace of football again. When you're betting hoops you get positive or negative feedback from the team your betting every 30 seconds because of the shot clock so its a real change of gears watching football again, definitely need to have more patience watching the NFL i think.

LOL if you know what to look for you can make alot of money betting the first 3 weeks of the NFL pre-season
Myself, along with a few others have proven this on Covers
The one pre-season I posted my action I won 5.5 units betting 1 unit a game. Is that amazing? Not at all. Is that a nice little profit to start the season, YES. On average I win between 2 - 5 Units EVERY pre-season. Why not start the year with a little coin in your pocket?
If you pay attention to the coaches press conferences, read the blogs for player rotations ect. there is actually a pretty sharp edge in some of the pre-season games.
It's just alot more work than capping the regular season, and yes of course it's still games that dont mean anything so it's not a perfect science.
But trust me, you CAN make money consistently in the pre-season.

It's true. Many people do quite well betting on the preseason and pad their bankroll
