Something along the lines of less than 5% of sportsbettors are profitable. So if "majority" of the "money" is on one side, you don't want to be on that side. Bigger the discrepancy, the more you avoid.

My mentor teaches to be on the side that the books need, if that means nothing to you...take up a new hobby.

Finally, that is a long term strategy and anything can happen in a game like this....ask San Fran.
