Lots of secrecy about his playing status last week and this week. Never heard he had gotten hurt.
I never heard of an on the field injury nor practice injury. He finished the game against the Jets, Texans, Niners, and Browns. Then nothing. Not playing nor showing up on the injury reports, yet not playing last week and Huntley starting and not playing this week with the playoffs on the line.

He supposedly hurt it against the Texans in week 15. He played in week 16 against SF so he must have reinjured it in that game. McDaniel said it was more of bruise than a hip problem. Tua said that he would play next week if they make the playoffs. You would think he would play this week, since they need to win to have any chance. That is the information I found. I agree that it does seem kind of strange.

@Romans12
If they lose today they won’t need him in the playoffs. Weird that a starting quarterback is a game time decision the last two weeks of the season with the playoffs on the line. No NFL insiders are even pushing the issue or putting anything out about it. Tyler Huntley playing says a lot.
