I am going to Vegas this weekend and signing up for the Circa Survivor contest, but I also want to join a season long pick contest. Last year I did both Circa Survivor (bounced week 1 ) and Circa Million IV. (middling results).
I have no problem burning the $1K in survivor again, because at least it seems hopeful at first. However, the Circa Million seems nearly impossible to cash. You have to hit at a 70% clip it seems, and that doesn't guarantee anything. I'm thinking of going with the Westgate Super Contest. The money won't be as high, but neither will be the volume of players, sharp as they may be.
Does anyone have an opinion on which contest to go with, or a different one they prefer? Thanks in advance for all trolling answers

It is a good question although 70% in circa or any contest will win almost surely. Around 62% in the Circa contest will get you a cash of close to 3x your original entry fee.
Will be a lower bar in the Westgate but probably not by much although a 200k winners share is nothing to write home about although they are allowing 5 entries per person this year i believe so that may/will go up somewhat with Circa doing the same.
The powers at be at the Westgate contest have essentially turned it into a giant mini contest with 11 of them leaving little for the overall winner so streaky players should enter that one.
Circa has 4 mini contests so pretty str. forward there but bigger prize money for them also.
If i were you i would play the Westgate as you picked around 50% last so that huge amount of mini's seem to be your best bet although that was last year so why can't you pick around 67% this year and win outright as you never know.
I am entering the Westgate Gold + regular contest along with 2 entries in the Circa million so i hopefully will see you in the winners circle somewhere.
GL.

For what it is worth, my two cents as I am in for 1 survivor and 1 Circa Millions.
I think that the Circa is the very forgiving and therefore engaging. Yes, while you'll need 60 - 70 % correct to hit any meaningful money, their quarterly prizes afford something for a stellar 4 weeks, especially if your first 4 are terrible. ultimately its a six of one situation and I wish you well on your picks.

Was in the Circa last year and as I recall the top 10 were always above 75% every quarter. 70% is attainable, but 80-85% to beat the rest seems absurd.

Circa will get huge numbers however Supercontest has many mini contests so in terms of variance you can get hot for 3 weeks and have a decent cash!
