They don’t. Couple guys played great in a big moment. They literally blitzed all night and Darnold missed every hot route or that DET D would have been torched. If that D gets healthy though they can be good. Just not great yet.

their defense gambles quite a bit and that can get problematic.  but the big issue is their defense has sustained many injuries this year, otherwise they would be a lot better than what they show.

last night was much more about Darnold unable to make the plays when Detroit forced him to. so they do get some credit overall, but if Sam plays like he has been, the game would have been closer.  

all the credit to them, though.  big game and they made it count
