They do have like the #1 rated defense &amp; the like the #1 rated offense as far as stats go, and SF really doesn&#x27;t come close to them in either category.

yeah, but do we like THIS year&#x27;s Chargers or the thought of what Chargers seem to do every year?? people who are on sf for whatever reason i dont hink realize that willis and spikes have casts on their hands, i think that is huge when it comes to tackling and i see many broken tackles as SD tolbert and receivers are big.

SF has played good teams tight this year (minus TB)

played NO, ATL, Philly, STL (not sure they qualify but sure) and GB (played them well for a while as well).

I just think SF gets a bad perception and SD get a ton of love....so therefore you have the overinflated line.

SD did lose to both SEA and STL this year

It&#x27;s not like the have a new QB or anything and the DEF will keep them somewhat in the ball game.Rams and Seattle both play tough games...I think you see SF come out and give it all becuase if they win and the other losers lose, then SF just may pull the division out.How sad is that!!!

LMAO! This is a terrible matchup for San Fran homie. #1  The Chargers defense allows 85.1 yards per game on the rush. No Gore, means no run game for this team.  #2 The Chargers defense allows 158.1 yards on the pass per game. Alex Smith????? WTF! Is he really going to be the answer against this quality defense? Hahaha, ok.#3 The Chargers offense has one of the best pass rush records for the season, and San Fran gives up 240.2 yards per game. Hmmm! Very interesting stats when you think about it right?7-6 or 5-8 records means nothing to me... I make my picks based on the superior teams always in a must win situation. Hey! Maybe Chargers dont show up tonight, and you cover, but other than that 49rs are outclassed in every aspect.

What scares me about this game is that the past 3 PrimeTime games (MNF&TNF) Have all had low lines even though the Fav was getting pounded. Tonight SD is at about 80% as well and the line has only moved a 1.5 points. I hate this game because I see both sides. This looks alot like the Oakland/SD game from 2 weeks ago where SD laid an egg. Everyone thought the chargers would just run over Oakland bc it's December and we all saw how that went. Personally this game looks so wide open on its possibilities.

why wouldnt there be a lot of charger love? have you seen their stats compaired to sanfran? if this line was at 3 90 percent of the public would be on the chargers. they are playing at home, in need of a win, on a short week with the number 2 offense and number 2 defense against a team rated in the high 20&#x27;s in all categories. sanfran has not beat a team over .500 this year. now giving them 9 is a lot but if this game was by who wins.....well hell, almost all the love will go to the chargers.
