Why don’t books allow 1H teasers ?

Does anyone know? if there a player advantage that poses huge risk to them? I don’t get it.

Would you offer 1H teaser if you are the book?

There are books that offer.  There are books that dont.

You smoking? Please name a book that offers it? I’ve seen none.

Fanatics Sportsbook offers them. I would stay away from these bets anyway. The first half of the game is often totally different than the second half. Whether it’s the underdog who’s getting destroyed in the first half that comes back to make it a game, or the favorite who performs like shit in the first half and pulls away in the second. 

I’ve learned that for the most part, you handicap a game to figure out what the final result will be. Everything that happens in between can be extremely whacky.

You have to click on all wagers first.

Then scroll down to the spreads tab.

Then click 1st half.  It will show a bunch of spreads with different juice.

Forget about teasers, I've never understood the logic of making a first half bet. 

You are basically saying I have only confidence for half the game, which is foolish.   I get the logic of a second half bet, because you at least have information in front of you.  You need to learn the pattern and tendencies w that information against the books

It has to be a bad team on the road vs a good team @ home to even qualify.

If the spread is over 10 

A play on the 1st half may seem like a better option. Instead of worrying about a back door cover.

Typical bad road teams have a slow start.

Usually if you lose the 1st half chances are they were never gonna cover that big spread the full game anyways.
