I&#x27;ve already heard that Cowboys will be resting starters if Seahawks are winning big or if they themselves get behind.  Of course Cowboys could beat this rotten Skins team by accident, but I wouldn&#x27;t bet on teams with questionable motivation.  I think they are pretty much locked into the #2 seed, no way Seattle loses at home to the Lambs...

I just bought out of my Washington play believe it or not. I don&#x27;t like the major drop the night before. I think you may be right about Dallas covering. Seattle rolls tho. It sets them up nicely to lose straight up as a big fave in playoffs

If you are correct, and Seattle and Arizona both lose, Dallas is the #2 seed and gets a first round bye REGARDLESS of whether they win or lose themselves.I&#x27;ve posted this in prior threads here and on other websites.  Dozens of other players have confirmed it.  Check Yahoo&#x27;s Playoff Generator or ESPNs Playoff Machine, or CBS.coms playoff website, for further confirmation.Dallas would be 11-5 and tied with Seattle (11-5), and holds the tie-break over Seattle.  (head to head)  Arizona at 11-5 is OUT of the EQUATION.  They would be a wildcard team and the #6 seed.  You don&#x27;t throw them back in, after determining they are a wildcard.Thus, why NOT rest your starters under those circumstances?  This game for Dallas is MEANINGLESS to them... unless the Lions-Packers game ends in a TIE, and the chances of that happening are too remote to be considered.Who cares about a revenge factor.  Their are bigger things at stake.  Romo and company will play better next week with a bit of rest this weekend.

Just so you guys know....Dallas doesn&#x27;t have to win today to get 2nd seed. As long as Seattle and Arizona loses, Dallas gets 2nd seed win or lose.Dallas owns the head to head tiebreaker over Seattle.There is only one scenario where if Dallas wins it would change anything, and that is if DET/GB tie. Then if Dallas wins, they get first seed.
