Steelers have been outscored 109-57 in their last 4 games. The game plan has been run, run, sack and punt. In a word 'horrific'.
Dean Pees (75 years old) came out of retirement in October to repair the leaky Ravens' D and he succeeded. I expect an aggressive defensive scheme that will stymie the Steeler run game and it is a stretch to expect redemption from the Steeler wide receiver corp. Their only real wr weapon is a head case who is dropping balls now. Clearly he wants out of Pittsburgh.
The Steelers' approach has been to play very conservative especially in playoff games and this style has been a massive failure. Their defenses by the end of the year are burned out and injured.
Tomlin's fingerprints have been all over these losses regardless of who the scapegoat OC is. One of the reasons that OC Bruce Arians and DC Dick LeBeau were forced out is because of the tampering by a certain head coach.
They have been blown out in the last 5 playoff games and I include the 45-42 game versus the Jags as they were down 21-0 early and got a lot of points in garbage time.
I don't expect their approach to change at all. Tomlin will burn down the house with the same old crap offensive game plan. No secret that as a head coach, I have a very low opinion of him and if anyone has a problem with that, I have two words for you.
