Pounding Denver -3. I'm seeing way too much giddiness over San Diego. They competed against brutal, horrific, league worst caliber defenses. That isn't shocking. Denver is a different animal. Denver is allowing 55.1% completion% to opposing QB's this year and a 67.5 QB rating. @SD last year against essentially the same exact team MINUS Woodhead they held them to 3 points. Rivers was 18/35. I don't see how things will magically get better without Woodhead. I don't see how San Diego will put up any sustained drives against this defense. Go look at San Diego's injury report. This is a battered unit on a short week. 3 offensive line starters questionable, top CB Verrett out for season, second best CB Flowers out, other CB's likley out, LB's out, no team has been hit worse with injuries over the last 2 years than the Chargers. Last but not least Denver hasn't lost an away game in division since WEEK 15 2010 they've covered @SD (essentially a neutral field) the last 5 times they've play there. Don't get caught up into the Chargers keeping up with bad defenses. Take Denver.
Good Luck all

My only concern is the interim head coach. But that's literally it.
But that Denver defense will terrorize the chargers.

Sometimes that works 2 ways. I like what I heard from Wade Phillips:
“I’m going to talk to the defense and we’re going to dedicate this game
to him. He’s meant so much to this team, and the reason we won the Super
Bowl is because of him. We’re going to do something for him.”
