Relatively new to teasers,EV, etc...Read where one was postulating they..Wong.. had lost their appeal, roi. I would certainly think crossing through key numbers is helpful...esp for RDs and HFs. Any thoughts?
As I have teased TB, KC and Sea. One game has killed my last two. Is one,in essence, significantly lowering their probability of a W going from two teams to three? I am inclined to think so....for consistent results. Thx.

In the early days you could bet the classic Wongs 1 1/2, 2 1/2, up and 8 1/2, 7 1/2 down at even money. it was a gift from the gambling gods, I made a fortune playing them in the 1970 and 1980s. In the mid 90's bookmakers wised up and started making bettors lay -110, I think that might still be a positive EV, although much smaller but another factor has come in the mix. The average NFL total is much higher today. Obviously moving the line 6 points is has much more value in a game where the expected finals in is the low 40s, than in the low 50s. I do not believe in today's game betting the Wong teaser is a positive EV, although probably not any worse than the EV of straight bet on a game.
Here is another tip about six-point 2-team teasers, in Las Vegas if either side of the Teaser pushes, it is no bet, not matter if the other side is a winner or a loser. Tourist often throw a ticket away if the 1st team is a loser, Sweepers look for those, and if they get a push in the 2nd game, might be a $500 or $1000 tip for them as they can cash it in as a no bet.

i don't usually do teasers, but put one in a few hours ago for tomorrow.
i got Denver +7, Saints -1, Titans/Jets UNDER 51 .......(+140)
I think the Denver game will be a close one, Saints get their first true home game and the Saints D is still very underrated imo, and i think Derrick Henry might get 30 carries tomorrow

Yep. Winning money on Wong teasers are a thing of the past. For various reason. And the biggest one ISN'T because the books raised the vig. Although that certainly didn't help.

I won a Wong teaser last week on -7.5 Arizona at Jacksonville and -7.5 Baltimore at Detroit. Teased them both to -1.5.
Of course I needed Balt to convert a 4th and 19 as well as have the longest FG in NFL history bounce in off the cross bar from 66 yards, but a win is a win.

You should go on YT and look up Gianni the Greeks rant on teasers. In the long term for teasers to be profitable, you have to hit at least 70%.
3 teamers obvi pay out more money, but it decreases our profitable return % a shit ton long term. We don't play to win everyday, play to win at a yearly %. That mentality will help people from losing millions of dollars.
