Wowzers public all over Houston already. I find it halarious how bettors see one good game by a team and pounce all over them the next game. Open your eyes here Houston beat a Cincy team that only beat 1 team over 500. Now Htown is facing a well rested Ravens team @home goodluck cuz ravens will roll over the texans D.

Here are some stats that support your theory. Ravens are undefeated( 8-0) at home this year and have won 18 of their last 19 home games. The 12th man has a major impact on their games. The Ravens went undefeated in the AFC North going 6-0. The AFC North is the only Division that had 3 representatives in the playoffs. The Ravens are 6-0 this year against teams that made the playoffs 2-0 vs pittsburgh, 2-0 vs Cincy and 1-0 against the Texans and 49ers. Finally since Harbaugh became coach the Ravens are 8-0 when having more than one week to prepare for a game. 4 of those were first game of the season and 4 were games following the bye. In fact the game they beat the Texans in back in October was the first game back after their bye. The average margin of victory in those 8 games was 15 points.

More stats. Since 1990 the # 2 seed in the AFC playoffs is 15-6 SU in the divisional round. Of all the seeds the # 2 seed has the highest winning % at 71% in the Division round. The # 3 seed, which is what Texas is has a 4-12 SU record (25%) in the divisional round.

Texans just won their first playoff game in franchise history, they will be riding high all week. Been a Texan backer throughout the season and had them last week. Arguably the best offensive line in the league and a top notch defense but I love the Ravens here. Harbaugh will have this team ready to play, always does coming off a bye week and their home numbers back them up even more. Won't surprise me if both teams start out very conservative and Texans keep it close to in the beginning but Ravens win by DD here in the end.

Surely Yates is gonna piss his pants when he sees Suggs and Lewis lining up across from him, surely he will...I mean he's a rookie QB so he's got to right?

Yates has been solid throughout and shown he can provide in clutch situations. Both teams will start out conservative and won't surprise me at all to see the Texans keep it close in the beginning. Just feel that there will be a game changer on the defensive side of the ball that puts the Ravens ahead by double digits and Texans won't have enough firepower against that defense to cover the line in the end.

Yeah, unfortunately as a Hou fan, I'm thinking along the same lines. Don't think Balty is quite as tough or fierce on D as they've been in some past yrs & their O has a tendency to sputter even at home, but a week off & at home for a team already much better at home is a huge advantage. Reliant was rockin vs Cincy & you amost felt the 'o "'luv ya blue" spirit eggin 'em on at home with Bum, Pastorini & Nolie lookin on & Wade up in the box callin D plays, lol. But that was Cincy at home in the dome - gonna be a different world at Balty. Still, I think they're D is just as good as the Ravens & if they can give Yates some protection & don't get down by 10-14 early & hang within 7/10 mid 3rd qtr goin into the 4th, with guys like Foster & AJ (who looked rusty Sat but at least has a gm under his belt), anything could happen & I give 'em a bit more than just a punchers chance.

Baltimore is probably the right side but I could only use them in a teaser. That's just too many points to lay with their prevent offense. Watching this team on offense is just brutal. They run everything in slow motion. They'll never win a Super Bowl with Joe Flacco at quarterback. It's hard to win that many playoff games with a qb that can't throw the ball more than ten yards down the field. Their defense is good but it's a bit overrated. This is one of those 14-10 games.
