Ask anyone who watches the Jets:They&#x2019;ve never seen a game where the Jets look like the Brees-lead Saints on the road against a somewhat quality team (but the Lions are still &#x201C;to be determined&#x201D; to be anything but bed to mediocre in that area).It doesn&#x2019;t happen...PERIOD.48 points for the Jets is near impossible. On the road too? Please.Incompetency on the Lions part with the careless TO&#x2019;s. Of course.But I have to tell you:The best part is making the Giants fans squirm with every Darnold success.Barkley will be very good but he can only do so much. We got a true number 1 because the Browns were doing what the Browns do durIng draft time and the Giants, as is their calling card, absolutely refuse to rebuild.Yes he could blow his Achilles next game like Vinny did in the year they were picked to go to the Super Bowl by Sports Illustrated, but this performance was a breakthrough.This wasn&#x2019;t Baker Mayfield in preseason game 1 against the second string...

Did you watch the game op?  More then 1/2 of there Points came from defense and special teams - to even compare 2 brees and the saints is laughable - Darnold was solid but wasn&#x2019;t pressure all night -

they have the coaching staff their to succeed this year. The whole roster is upgraded they could sneak to a 9-7, 10-6 possibly.

Boles &gt; Pencil Patty&#xA;Elite D keeps teams in games, competent QB play wins those games...Darnold showed alot of moxy after that pick6 to play the way he did...seems like the team has his back and for the first time in ages, Jets are back and relevant again...and will be the next team to dominate the division once Brady and his avocado smoothies retire

&#xA;Stafford has always been a turnover slot machine...his football IQ is quite low...amazing how good his agent must be to get him paid like an elite QB without accomplishing anything noteworthy in his career...makes you realize just how special of a player Calvin Johnson really was...Rodgers is a high level football scholar and rarely turns it over blindly...although that late drive on Sunday was a sure pick that was dropped by the Bears defensive player.

As a Jets fan, they played a fantastic first half.Then in the second half, unlike the &#x201C;They were who we thought they were! And we let em off the hook&#x201D; Bears, the Jets scored 48 and won.

Not to burst your bubbles but that was horrible performance by stafford and the lions offense. Dont get me wrong your Jets are on the rise and in the right direction but still probably a year away. Bates playcalling was excellent I wouldnt say Darnold looked or did anything special. Jets defense will be solid all year, but the lions defense especially the Dline is terrible. Funny to see overeaction over one game lol
