Why not go for the TD/2 pt conv and go for the FG next possible possesion?I dont agree with that call

Absolutely the right thing to do is to kick the FG.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;You can score a TD from midfield on a hail mary on your next possession, you cant run out the clock trying to score a TD from the 25 yd line.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;You kick the FG, try onsides kick.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Right thing to do, and almost never done.

About time someone did this.  I&#x27;ve been screaming at the TV for years while these idiot coaches kill the entire clock trying to get the TD.  I would say great coaching, but he went for an onside kick with 5 minutes left....

Van- I must disagree....you have to take one shot at the endzone on the 25yrd line....then you have an opportunity to kick a long fg for the tie....hell they tried a long FG at the end of the first half....25yrs for a TD with you big receivers should have been the way to go

Van is right.If they get the onsides kick there is 40 seconds to go and they are on the 50.It was a good call with no timeouts left.

it&#x27;s the right call but I think they should have at least taken one shot into the end zone first before going for the the fg.  The chances of getting the ball back and trying to get the TD with less than 30 seconds left and no time out is almost zero %.  Chances for to go for an onside kick and fg is a bit higher.
