Crashed and Burned again on a Saturday - I need to just sit on the bench during Saturday games...  Think I was easily 2-10 down 3-4 units... 

Looking at Rags Avs Puck Line  and maybe Pens. Like Avs a lot.

A lot of people play an angle that a team off Road trip performs poorly 1st game back.  I took quick look at last few seasons and I don't see an advantage.  Feel like Avs will be fired up to be back home after a 6 game Roadie (against 6 of the 8 East Conf playoff teams from last season) to start the Post ASG break, where they went a surprising 1-5.  Last game was Feb 15th, so they have had a chance to get into normal home game routine.  Yotes suck OTR, Avs one of best Home teams in NHL, and Yotes have won 2/3 this season, so no way Avs take them lightly.

I see a 5-1 5-2 type game here.

Avs are 6-0 following a road trip of 2 games or more.  5 of those wins were by 2+ goals.

Traveling to F-L-A this week.  Business thru Thursday, then couple rounds of golf  - Doc will be proud of me...   Best part is my two Brothers are also flying  in, and we plan to play at least 1 round with my dad.  84 and still gets out there for 18.

Yeah I could be way off on Arizona game, and they are good value at that price.  Just got a feeling.  Pens is more of a fade of LAK - 2nd night B2B on 4 game Roadie.  Any different scheduling situation, and I'd prolly be on Kings.  And I'd never bet against my little Stellie - woof woof.

 Kings are rolling right now and have all the momentum at the right time while chasing a wild card spot, so collecting all these wins are important for the Kings. Pens have been playing poorly, losing 3 of their last 4 games, with their only win coming against the lowly Blackhawks.  Pressure will be on the home team as they will be honoring Jaromir Jagr with a pregame ceremony to retire his number and raise to the rafters. These are usually good fade spots against the home team. Home is not a place you want to play when the pressure is on and especially when you are the struggling team being favored.

Yeah, I hear ya.  Prolly regret playing pens as they have been terrible this year, but it fits enough of my metrics to make them a play.  Good luck Brother.

 I'm with you on the Pens.  Kings are only 1-6 with no rest.  There were 2 times where the Kings ended a road trip with no rest.  Way back in December they lost 4-1 to the Rangers.  More recent, Jan 15 they beat Carolina 5-2 as a +140 dog.  The next night they got smoked by Dallas 5-1 as a +117 dog.  Last night they beat the Bruins as a +150 dog.  +120 dog tonight???  I think they may be fat and happy getting 2 wins on this road trip.

No, they are not fat and happy getting 2 wins on the road trip as evidenced by their resilient 2-1 win in regulation.  So yes, now the Kings with 3 wins are now fat and happy to go home on a happy flight!

Rough!  Short handed for the win.  Impressive to score 2 goals down the stretch for the win with no rest and being down for most of the game.

And screw the Avs for another slow start at home with an early start time
