Not the start I expected but hit my largest wager yesterday with Vancouver. Ended up on the plus side. I knew Tocchet would have his team ready. I went to highschool with Tocchet at St Michaels College School. I was the practice goalie for the Jr B team St. Mike's Buzzers. Kevin Dineen and Tony Tanti were also on that same team. Imagine those 3 players on the same jr team. Anyway on to today's picks.
Vancouver spent all their energy yesterday against Seattle, plus they are playing 3 Rd game in 4 days back to back. With no rest and an empty tank as much as I hate it I'm taking the rested Predators.
Also Anaheim is on a roll winning 3 in a row BUT....playing back to back, 3rd game in 4 days and they just beat Edmonton few days ago. Once again the rested Oilers will exact revenge on the surging Ducks.
First 2 plays of the day...1..Nashville.
2...Oilers
As always Good Luck.

Thinking the same thing. The last game Preds played they outshot Minnesota something like 48 to 36 and still lost 5-3 so yes hope they can get it done, but I just can't take Vancouver after leaving it all on the ice yesterday.
Good luck to you too

Hockey novice, but it seems the Oilers can score a plenty, just have troubling keeping the other team from scoring. Like the Oilers and will be tailing...

Cool story having gone to high school with Tocchet at St. Mikes, which also included the likes of Tanti and Dineen. Tanti was a real sniper when it came to scoring goals in the NHL. Thanks for sharing it Underbar.
I take it your Oilers pick is on the puckline (-1.5), which is still high at -190. Would you take Edmonton at -2.5 (+110)?

Yes I believe so he also has a brother who played for the Islanders. Big defenceman named Gord Dineen. He was at St Mike's on the Jr B team. He was there for 1 year when I started. He left at end of season.

Thanks FF16. Took a few pucks on the chin from those guys as well. Yes Tanti could score . I'm sure he broke Gretzky's Jr. A scoring record. As far as the Oilers we could very well see the Oilers win 5-2 like Anaheim did to them but I would feel more secure playing 3 way Oilers win by 2. This way if they are up 1 and put in an empty net you push rather than lose. OLG pays 1.90 for this bet. Good luck

A good prop is McDavid over .5 goals at +2.10. Anaheim is among the top in teams allowing centres the most shots on goal. Over 3.5 shots on net also good prop.+2.10. Just a thought.
