Like the Preds tonight  - most likely Hutton between the pipes. Leafs roster changing hourly

The Canes have to win tonight to stay in the race, especially with the Rags looking to put the collar on the Devils and the dead desert mutts almost certainly getting the axe tonight in Tampa.  I don't have a good feeling for the Stars, even though everyone will be on them.  Senatwhores are hot, but are the Oilers going to lose another home game? Most likely. Flames are certainly road kill with their lack of goaltending... and ..which Halak shows up in Minny? Crack Halak or Halak attack?

Lean Wings, Canes, Preds, Minny. Gonna be around all day. I'm about to take my boy to get his 6 month shots today at an office that takes 4 hours err damn time.

Teams needing a goalie should trade for the Leafs James Reimer.  He's probably 25% or better than his stats show because he plays for the worst team in the league.  Stay away from their other goalie tho, he's a stiff

Everyone is down on the Jets and understandably so, but I think they have a very good young team.  They just need a goalie.  Hellebucyk might be the answer, but he might need another year or two.  I still don't agree with them resigning Byfuglien to that 7 mil/yr contract.  He takes too many penalties and makes too many defensive mistakes.  They could've fandangled a big bounty for him which would've included a 1st round pick.  LA Kings would've done it in a heart beat, but they cant afford him

Like the Stars as well 

Not so sure about "Otimus Reim" - as one broadcaster put it - "he plays well when nothing is expected of him and he plays poorly when they need him to come up big"

He does face a lot of quality shots and then even more on a bad defense team (although there appears to be light at the end of the tunnel - I hope). Maybe he needs a change of scenery to boost his confidence and play more consistently. There is no doubt that the Leafs have as many wins as they do because of Reimer's goaltending.

Jury is out for me on that one

The Coyotes get dissed.  John Cooper starting alphabet and theyre not even on a B2B.  I think hes a very good backup.  Who are the mutts gonna start?

Looking at the flames 2n, tempting price ya they cant defend for garbage but they hit like 3 goal posts vs ana created a lot im sure its gna be closer than these prices suggest, anyway will prob need a lot of luck CAL @ 2.75 bol all

Others I like are leafs, islanders and yotes but not ready to bet them yet hf gg

Why is the Minny line so short??     I know the Isles aren't a bad team but I can get less than -120, seems oddly low, right?  Or am I just thinking too hard here...

Shoulda finished my thought before hitting send....

The line in the Detroit game really leads me to believe the Wings win.  Because I don't know how else you can lay a -200 line vs a team that seems to be playing well tonight.  Detroit in reg maybe... threw up a little as I said that

I think CBJ or ARI throw a suprise really if youre going to bet the fav in these games might as well go -1.5 IMO.

Look for the Jackets to be flat after the B's win, but wait.....tonight the Wings will be home after a 4 game losing road trip.  Which angle takes hold.

Who cares, stay away from this game !!!!!

Does anyone like the Flames + Kings over 5.5+123 ??  The Flames can score and Quick plays a stinker every 4-5 games.  Like real bad.

Would be interesting to see how well "going against the team on B2B" angle holds. Im sure actually many times this season a lower ranked team has won on a B2B vs a favourite, and I am sure the bookmakers set the lines in anticipation of money on the favourite knowing the B2B factor is overestimated.

Thats just my opinion and in fact the opinion of many other playersin the NHL its usually the 3rd game in 4 nights or the last one which depletes teams,

I wouldn't, these teams are under machines when they meet. As of late the Kings are putting up a wall center ice and making every team dump and chase.

I kind of agree.  But the line just really stood out to me, that's all.  

Any opinion on why the Wild line is only -120, o wise one??

The line is more based on season power rankings as opposed to the team since the coach was fired. Ranking wise, personally I have the Isles ranked in the top 10 and the Wild mid ways.  I think the line is spot on actually. 

If anything I would play the over, both teams have been burying the puck, sans that last game the Isles played. But really, the Devils would hold the 80's Oilers to a one goal game. Oh something else to note is in reality the Wild are coming off a 4 game road trip, considering where they played Sunday.

Much appreciated sir.  I was thinking it might be like coming home from a 4 game roadie for the Wild after that outdoor game.  Might pass on this game.  But I do think the Isles are incredibly overrated as a whole as a club.  I'm a little bit shocked to see you having them in your top 10.

Hey Wheaty- Good to see you (knew that was coming ). As far as the rational of a team coming home from a long road trip, much of that has to do with all the "Honey do" lists, taking care of family, and just being lazy at home. Since they've been home since Thursday after Edmonton, all that other stuff has been taken care of, and I don't but into the 1st game back angle here. I do buy into the good time for a let down theory after going 4-0 and getting really pumped up for the outdoor game against the Hawks, but as I told Peanut earlier, this is where we see what kind of character this team has. After the terrible start to the new year, this team can't afford to have "let down games" or  take nights off, as that's what they've been doing for the past two months. I could be wrong, but I look for them to come out with the same intensity and passion they've been showing the last 4 games. Especially guys like Haula, Niederreiter and Reilly that weren't getting playing time under Yeo, and now know it's their chance to show they deserve ice time.

You can all tell me tomorrow I was wrong, but I'm thinking, and hoping that's not the case. Wild and over 5 tonight
