wawa, i'm not the most experienced of bettors, but one thing i can tell you is that i've gone 4-1 on some nights and have lost money.  HC is an experienced bettor and i'm surprised to see someone of his elk with a card like that.  I will NEVER wager more than lets say...140..and thats a stretch.  Been there done that forgetaboutit.  Mind you there's someone on this site (no names mentioned as he's been here a long time) that will only play dogs or PL's and i think that's a bit ridiculous as well.  You will only go in circles.  Sorry, didnt mean to hijack your thread happy.  BOL bruh

Ya no prob DB.  Actually I'm having fun with it because I do try to avoid the heavy juice its true.  I had a really strong opinion on Detroit tonight for reasons I didn't get into and luckily I was right this time.  The other two, well, I don't mind going up to -140 or so be it side or total if I see some value there.

I actually have 3 common MOs when betting sides, though this approach is not one I recommend, I just seem to get results using these approaches:

1) Parlay 2 faves -150 to -200 or so

2) Play 2 DOGS and hope for the split

3) Play 3 dogs/faves and hope for the 2-1 split

Again, I do not ADVOCATE this approach, but it may explain tonight's selections if you were wondering.... I often approach a card with these 3 types of attack.

Well done. But waisting some profit with ML wagers

In regulation: Detroit was somewhere near -105, Habs +110, LA +130

WELL, well, well, my old friend DLS where have ya been buddy!?

That strategy can backfire as often as it succeeds, however, I often play reg lines but post what I play in the contest anyway since that is the way I like to track my record and enables me to verify EVERYTHING I post, which is cool
