A 2 minute penalty on the Flyers for delay of game will stop this nonsense

hey moron you obviously do not understand the concept of hockey so maybe I can explain this to you. 

The object is to score more goals than your opponent and you can not do that if you never have the puck.

Obviously you're out in left field when it comes to this sort of thing NJ. If you understand the game at all, you would know that it's up to the defending team to pressure the offensive side or the team with the puck. Furthermore, the Lightnings delay brought back fond memories of the worst team in hockey for creating this type of bullshit hockey and it was none other than New Jersey and their coach Jacques Lemaire. Yeah it was called TRAP, so I can fully understand why or where someone like you comes from or obtain's your sense of thinking on how to play the game. In fact that series that year went down in the records books as the most boring Stanley Cup round ever! If you don't understand the elements or tactics, then go get yourself a book at your local library for future reference!

During the intermissions of both early games I heard them saying all the hockey players that were emailing or texting in along with the ones in studio were to a man putting all the blame on Tampa Bay for not playing the game of hockey which is to pursue the puck, try to attain it and then try to create with it, not dump it in and all stand back in a line, then wait for the other team to actually try to create a "hockey" play with it.

It's funny how the actual hockey players think one way and fans that don't fully understand the game think the other way.

Why is it up to the team with the puck to score?? The team with the most goals at the end of the game wins sure but you don't have to score. A team can circle the puck like a circus show in their own end and hope for a 0-0 tie, it's in their right. Makes for a horrible game but they can still do it.

If tampa wants to do that and the other team wants to sit and do nothing go right ahead. Soon no one will watch TB play and they will not do that any more.
