Yep, 6th overall pick in 2004. He was also the top goalie in the AHL a couple of years ago. With all of the scrub goalies that we've seen get a shot as a starter, I'm amazed that this guy has never been given a decent chance. Great NHL numbers in his limited games too.

and he was an All-American for Red Berenson @ Michigan, was the starting goalie for the 2004 World Junior Championship winning USA team and the 6th pick overall by the NY Rangers in the 2004 entry draft. most thought he would "fast track" to the NHL BUT, with the Rags having Henrik Lundqvist for a starter, he really never got much chance.

with all the Islanders goalie problems, maybe he will stick there. he sure looked solid against the Kings saturday with 35 saves (which de-railed my "OVER" gravy train)
