Mike Yeo is goof so is Michel Therrien....another non emotional dimwit. We need some fire, like a Berube or Tocchet or Brind Amour type

The names being thrown out there are Tortorella, Babcock & Tocchet(which makes the most sense. Boudreau just got the Vancouver job

If they hire Babcock, I will be putting any Flyer apparel Memorabilia etc... that I own away until he is gone. One of the worst human beings out there.

Lot of buzz right now that Rick Tocchet will be named next Flyers coach

I remember when the Flyers traded Tocchet, Samuelsson & Wregget to Pittsburgh for Mark Recchi

Also remember Operation Slapshot where Tocchet pleaded guilty to gambling charges in the early 2000's and received 2 years probation and was temporarily suspended from the NHL for less than a year. Tocchet was booking bets for mainly pro hockey personnel. Including Wayne Gretsky's wife ($500,000).Roenik was a huge client Tocchet and his NJ State police business partner took in over $2,000,000 on 2006 Superbowl alone.

Agreed l, I'd like either of them as thier coach. Never liked AV.

I must be missing something since when did tocchet become scotty bowman. Dude has about a dozen games under his belt. ????

He has 438 games under his belt as a head coach. Not sure his toughness will rub off on the likes of Giroux, Van Riemsdick and Konecny and his 175lbs. Add in Atkinson at 175lbs and Farabee at 164lbs (what??) They have little or no toughness on the back end either minus Ristolainen.  Their division is made up of big talented teams so lots of work to be done whoever is named the coach.

 Actually it's 438 games coached and he improved every season and managed to get an Arizona team completely void of talent into the playoffs where they somehow won a round. He's a Flyer so at least his heart will be in it 100%. Instead of running it down make a suggestion then. Tell us who they should go after. I think I recall you on here making similar comments when the Blues hired Craig Berube to rescue them and they went on an epic run and claimed the Stanley Cup and Berube is still there.
