Thanks guys. Really getting into hockey betting. What are some major factors when capping? I would assume teams would be sluggish on end of B2B since it&#x27;s a taxing sport on the body. Goalies are obviously huge probably most important player on ice. What else?

figure the goalie @ 50% esp on totals. look at special teams, PP &amp; PK. goals for vs goals against. good site for that info is https://prosportsdaily.sportsdirectinc.com/sports-scores/Hockey-Scores-Matchups.aspx?Year=2013&amp;Period=1021&amp;CurrentSeason=2013-2014 and click on the Matchup for the game. got about everything you need on one easy page ex have to click on the "goalie" to get their extended stats

Does the starter (goalie) usually play all games excluding B2Bs?

&#xD;&#xA;depends on the coach and the quality of his goaltending. generally the "#1" goalie will start unless it&#x27;s B2B (generally 2nd game but sometimes the 1st depending on opponent) BUT on some teams the coach will "platoon" and pretty much split the starts IF he has a "1a" and "1b" goal paring where both are close in ability. &#xD;&#xA;82 game regular season a "long schlage" and you can&#x27;t play your #1 every game or you will wear him out

While this is often true, it&#x27;s important to pay attention to every individual team. Some younger teams actually play exceptionally well in the second half of B2Bs because they already have their legs under them from the beginning, while aging teams tend to be very slow. Trends and stats sheets really help in the NHL.
