Bet MGM offers a parlay wager, which reads "both teams to score 1+ goals and win".
Then it offers the available betting selections:
"Maple Leafs to win and yes" (+165)
"Maple Leafs to win and no" (+1050)
"Bruins to win and yes" (+170)
"Bruins to win and no" (+1100)
"Tie and yes" (+325)
"Tie and no" (+5000)
With respect to "both teams to score 1+ goals", would you say it means both teams have to score at least one or more goals or that both teams have to score two or more goals?
I inquired and asked Bet MGM support the question that if I select "Maple Leafs to win and yes" at +165, and Toronto wins 2-1 in overtime, does it count as a winning wager?
Support replied it would be a losing wager because Boston only scored one goal.
On the contrary, I would think it should be a winning wager because "1+ goals" means to score one or more goals. It's the same when they list TD scorers for NFL games, where they list the options as "1+ touchdowns". I've bet those many times and have won with my selected player having scored just one touchdown.

i was thinking it should lose for your example of going to over time, as tie and yes should be the winner... but their explanation then don't make sense

The Support person gave you the wrong reason. of the 6 offerings, there are two scenarios where a tie is part of the bet, therefore this is a 60 minute Win, and because it was a tie game after Regulation, it was counted as a Loss.
"Tie and yes" (+325) was the Winner

whenever "tie" is an option that means the line is 3-way and has to be regulation. lots of book will do this to catch people sleeping. Always try to play 2-way on these when you can. In the regular season btts2 + over 5.5 sgp 2 way, were some of my favourite wagers.

Thanks dyamarik.
You got it bang on. I was more concerned with the 1+ goals and not the tie available as an option.

Yeah but they won the game, irregardless of overtime or not and overtime is not mentioned in the option "both teams to score 1+ goals and win". As for your last comment, no you ficking moron, as obviouslly one team had to win the ficking game.
