Can someone explain how that was a goal. Do I have this right. It was a high stick which they missed which would&#x27;ve killed the play, but since there was a change of possession which looked like the goalie froze the puck its a good goal. What am I missing?

I didn&#x27;t see a high stick but I think it should have been called dead and no goal. Not entirely sure of the rules with that though

I was wondering the same thing. Between the high stick, the hand pass, and the goalie controlling the puck I have no idea how that was not over-turned. If the canes lose this one that will be remembered as a major wtf call.
