Bug Love for Bruins ..Wow

So a team coming off a 7 game series playing a rested team on the road is a popular pick tonight.....really.....trying to get my head around that.....not only that ...the Bruins didn't look impressive at all.....they are not the Bruins of old and even Boston Eagle a big Boston fan does not have them winning...at best some early momentum in the game then a well coached team will take over and dominate....Florida went to the Stanley Cup Finals last year and has come back this year to make a point they are back with business to finish....I will be taking the Panthers ML and for the series...potentially in 5 as I see a determined and hungry team going to the Stanley Cup Finals...cheers and best of luck to everyone

Action Network has Florida at 81%, at Draftkings 62%  and even covers shows Florida at 69%

 He's referring to most people on this board picking the Bruins for game 1.   Not sure if this is relevant, but the Bruins did beat Florida 4 times in the regular season. Will it carry to the post season? Who knows

 Hey Philly I like BostonEagle love the Bruins I live in BOSTON and have had a amazing 25 plus years run but I kinda agree with BostonEagle and u I’m not gonna lie!

BUT YES BUT… Florida and Bruins were almost totally opposite situations last years with Bruins winning President Trophy setting a record for points and wins in a season and along came Florida! I’m not at a huge level of confidence but the Bruins don’t suck and this team may surprise us all if it’s a surprise at all.. I will never bet against my home town team but again there’s BUT… Last but not least this is the kind of BOSTON TEAM in any sport that wins it all out of the background quietly slide in and take it away just as Florida did to them last year! So with that being said here’s the answer:

Not sure Why the Bruins split playing time with Ullmark and Swayman during the regular season. Should stick with one goalie as your regular goalie. It looks like Swayman is the better goalie. Should trade Ullmark and get draft picks. I'm sure Ullmark wants playing time, so he will probably ask for a trade in the offseason?

I initially wanted to go for the Lippsman Split in this series, but I can't bet on the Bruins after only one days rest to recover physically and emotionally from barely avoiding a second straight Choke For the Ages.

Didn't Vegas also sweep Dallas in regular season.  Hmmm  Surprised line has gone down from around -180 high after opening low -160s.  I can see Bruins maybe Game 2 but no way I can do Game 1.

Jeremy Swayman is an an absolute beast and the hottest goalie in the playoffs. The Leafs never scored more than 2 goals on him and even that was tough as nails to do.

It was one game, a 5-1 victory for the Bruins give it a rest. It takes 4 wins to dust your opponent during playoffs. Boston looked okay showing some jump, and Swayman played well. Florida outshot Boston 39-29. The long layoff for Florida and Sam Bennett being out was a factor, he should return later in this series. This series will likely go 7 games and will see many momentum swings before the series ends. Expect a different look from Florida in game 2..
