The last time a Canadian NHL Team lifted the Cup was 1993 Canadians and only because of the king  Patrick Roy!!

im guessing many of you were still playing midget hockey in the 90’s.  Lol the old Oilers, and Islanders cup series were fantastic! 

Oilers might have a chance due to hosting crummy Vancouver… but Dallas, Colorado should take the west and if not, Preds and Canes lift the cup in the East. Sorry Canada, please try harder.

Tough to win a series when the league predetermines the winning team via viral manipulation. 

However credit to Betman has to be acknowledged regarding how the league manipulated games 5 and 6 to make sure maximum profits were obtained thru TV show commercials and sports betting overall handle.

And the same old results… Leafs eliminated yet again, and not even close to playing for the Cup.

Crummy Vancouver??? On what basis do you believe they're crummy? They've proven themselves to be an elite team this season. And the Oilers are not "hosting" Vancouver. Vancouver gets 4 home games and Edmonton gets 3.

Also not trying to hurt feelings here, but European players have absolutely closed the gap on Canada…hell, usa has too. 

it’s kinda like saying Canadian basketball players are absolutely making a difference in the NBA and have closed the gap on USA

BOL with your wagers and I’m certain the Oilers/canucks will not lift Lord Stanley’s Cup.  The only organization with balls are the Canadians…made a fabulous run during Covid and always plays tough in a playoff series.  Flames have balls when the saddle dome gets rolling.  Hong Kong Vancouver destroys their own property   Hard core.  

The Leafs will always be the Leafs and my Canadian friends hate em and we’re pulling for Boston….like paying taxes, early exit happens every year.

  The American owned and operated entity known as the NHL, which is run by a little Jewish lawyer from New York City is not allowing a Canadian based team to win the Stanley Cup. There is zero financial upside to that. The day he was done being mentored by the other Jewish New York lawyer David Stern, and appointed boss of the NHL and the southern project was put into place for the league in 1994, any chance a Canadian based team had of winning a cup again went sailing away in the Ocean of corporate greed. Only fools cling to the fantasy that it’s a level playing field and anyone can win. The object has been and still is to grow the game in America and gain fans there and produce more players from there, and the best way to make that happen, and only way in many American cities is to feed them success and championships. It’s already found out that if that’s not done the teams will not be supported. The fans in Canada will watch and attend games no matter what, so there is no need to allow them anything but very moderate success here and there and no need for championships. It’s basic business for maximum financial gain, which is THE ONLY thing any of these sports entertainment empires are about period.
