Exactly, every bozo slurping up Fairy Price sure is silent now after that total dominance. I said VGK in 5 beforehand but not even sure it gets to 5 to be honest

Forgive me for repeating myself as I've said this in an earlier thread and many times before; I was born & raised into the HABS juggernaught dynasty in the mid-late '60's & early seventies. They are not that team anymore. Lucky to be in it this far due to Covid, and despite openly acknowledging no great love for the franchise anymore, I still feel like I've got a pulse on or a vibe about them.

As a quick aside; I planned to play VGS the moment I heard MTL was going to matchup with them, but didn't rush into placing any wager as I was monitoring lines. Sunday night I had a dream that I played VGS G#1 and MTL scored 1st. I don't recall the final outcome but when I awoke the next day           (Mon. morn), felt a bad gist about taking VGS at such high odds against an unpredictable MTL team with a legendary goalie.

Although I can foresee and predict many realistic elements of the general future, doing so is based on experience and historical knowledge while cognizant. By no means do I possess any mystical prognostic abilities especially where my subconscious is concerned. (For what it's worth, tried it. Didn't work). This is entirely true when it comes to random sporting events.

For example (and case in point to be specific), even though TOR beat MTL predominantly throughout the regular season did not mean TOR would beat MTL in the playoffs. More so, Even though MTL beat VGS 5/6 times in the regular season since 2018, don't mean they'll do it now, in the playoffs.

Will Vladimer Putin continue to be an aggregious maleovolant trickster asshole, the answer is a hard yes and if given steep odds, I'd bet the farm !           Who wins the Stanley Cup ? I'll play it cool.

That said, and short story long, the point I'm trying to make is this: I didn't believe my dream or its forebodings about MTL scoring 1st (and possibly winning the game). Reality dictated and I took vegas @ -275 for 1 unit (but it should be noted I intended to play 3 units and held back cause of this stoopid dream). Whatever. All good. A win is a win. Can't tell you how happy and relieved I was when VGS scored 1st. It just reiterated my rational.         And holy crap, MTL easily could have scored 1st...Then what ?

Bottom line is this, with all things above considered, I bet on TOR against MTL with more love than practicality, (even though it was feasible).                  I have no more love, just clear insight...MTL will lose G#2 in Vegas (making it 2-0) but very well might have their "pop-out" game back at home in G#3, (if so - making it a 2-1 series) leading to speculation that they might carry their weight. They won't.

For me; 1 unit on VGS G#2, laying off on G#3 and either way, full throttle after that on VGS just doubling up.

Not saying anyone should follow me. Just saying I'm doing what I'm thinking while awake...
