He's not a bad Coach, however I think he was strongly behind the "making it work with Danny Jones" because he thinks he is a QB Whisperer. Allen was pretty raw when he came into the league, but he is also a much superior athlete, and I think Daboll thought he could mold Jones into an elite QB. And that single move, just added 4-5 years to a new rebuild (new QB = new rebuild) and handcuffed the Cap by having all that Dead Cap for releasing Jones. So, mixed emotions on that.
