Poor Columbus Blue Jackets who had William Karlsson play 2 full seasons (162 GAMES) and only get 15 goals combined. Astonishingly, he scores 43 goals in the regular season and 18 pts in 15 playoff games so far. Remarkable Unbelievable turnaround. I dont think thats ever happened before in 120 + years.

Ted Leonsis is an incredibly patient man. Waited all this time to see his star player in the finals and 44 years to hoist the cup.

Jonathan Marchessault scored 30 goals for the Panthers last year. The 30 he scored this year would've made him the highest scorer for the Cats again. Why would Florida GIVE HIM AWAY? They have plenty of cap space. Vegas signed him for $5 mil x 6 years. I know... tin foil. William Karlsson 43 goals was and is still being paid $1 mil yr. More Tin foil? Reilly Smith 60 pts and Panthers gave him away for 0.

A paragraph from the Hockey Writers Guide as they were completely baffled as to why the Panthers would let either Smith or Marchessault get away let alone both of them. They were puzzled because in no world anywhere that consists of common sense does it make any sense. Definitely a backdoor deal orchestrated by the little criminal to help stack his latest southern project.

But leaving Marchessault unprotected is a mystery. He scored 30 goals (to go along with 21 assists) for a Panthers team cursed by bad puck luck, riddled with injuries and with all the organisational stability of liquid nitroglycerine. A steal at just $750,000 for 2017-18, Marchessault looked like found money: a young, cheap, talented forward who can play both centre and the wing, and whose speed makes him a constant threat in the modern NHL. The move can't be explained by anyone and the Panthers have offered no explanation what so ever other than to say they are focusing on defence which makes zero sense due to the fact they protected forwards with obvious far less skill than either Smith or Marchessault.

I have caps futures but i agree with bold here. The NHL is making too much of a production out of this ''cinderella '' (give me a f(#(# break) lv team with their pregame theatricals and stories hyping them up, that I already see where the NHL is going with this.

I had them also at &#x2B;1400 as I mentioned before.  Both Polarbear and Vicb can attest to this as theve seen my play a dozen times much to Polar&#x27;s chagrin.  I smelled this Caps cup victory 5 months ago when they were in last place.  I will be working on next years winner over the summer so keep tuned. I haven&#x27;t been feeling well lately as ive been thinking its time for the Leafs to hoist a cup.  If the nhl gets rid of cancerous midget Napoleon, I will be making that wager.  Fukk bettman hope he croaks.  Congrats to all Caps backers.
