Originally goalies were pulled with 1 minute to go. Now it&#x27;s 2 to 3 minutes left in the game. I have noticed 1 thing with the Capitals. When they have the lead, Ovechkin is out there. Usually a player gets 30 to 45 seconds of ice time. He&#x27;s getting 1 minute or more sometimes. All those empty netters he gets is a joke. They keep him out there to be Gretzky&#x27;s record. In his career Ovechkin has 62 empty netters and 3 this year.
