a twelve game slate has never felt like such slim pickings. A bunch of big faves
couple games that i'm looking at right now...
Tampa Bay +170
Both teams have lost 3 straight. Both won 4 in a row, and 5 of 6 before their respective tail slides. It's tough to back either side right now. But it's especially hard to fathom backing the bruins at this price. Does Tampa have any life left?
New Jersey +170
Leafs have had basically the best case scenario week unfold since their beat down in Florida. Off consecutive emotional wins, it just seems like a bad spot for my Leafs. The Devils are pretty bad there's no doubt about that, and I don't really buy into the let down theories.. but Toronto expended a lot of energy last night in a fast tempo game where they had to play shorthanded for much of the third period.

Calgary has cooled off and this is a bet against Chad Johnson
