Greiss in net, Blues struggling, not playing well at home, no Buch or Krug, no identity, defense sucks, worst PK in the league, Blues near the bottom in goals/game, Jets top 5 in SV% & GAA. I could name more.
HOWEVER
The Jets are one of the worst 1P teams. They’re 2-6-3 on the road in the 1P & 6-9-9 overall. The Blues are 5-2-4 at home in 1P.
Not having Krug benefits them IMO as they’ll be better on D w/o him and while not having Buch sucks for them, it does allow a younger lineup which the Blues desperately need as an older team. They played w/o both against the Isles the other night and won 7-4. They’ve played 6 of their last 8 on the road against some good teams so they should be happy to be home in a revenge spot having lost to the Jets earlier this season 4-0. I believe they get out to an early 1P lead and HODL to get a W tonight.
