Fun Facts: If Finland were to somehow take game to OT and lose, a Sweden Regulation victory over the US would actually put Sweden in the Finals. If Fins can win Reg or OT they advance. So, while Canada has a bit of pressure on them to win in 60 minutes, I think they prevail and will not stop scoring to ensure the Reg. victory.
And given the impact to the TV Ratings and NHL buzz created by last nights game, no one wants Finland or Sweden in the Finals...

All of your scenarios are correct. I would expect nothing less than a Canada win in regulation time. If this happens how would you bet the USA game? My thoughts are that the USA will be trying to avoid injuries and will spread the ice time out to more of the 3rd and 4th line as well as the 2nd and 3rd defense. If this happens what would you play in the USA game? Again thanks for the wright up.

As you state, more balanced line participation, to limit injury chances for USA. I would side with the Swedes, as they could still finish with 5 points, tied with Canada, just for pride. How hard they go after it I don't know, but Lean would be to them.
I also would lean heavily to the Over, as I think the level of physical play by either side will be reduced. And also to prevent wear and tear and injuries for both teams, to which I think means less dump and chase and scrums in the corners, and lots of players skating the puck in. That can create Offense going in, and Transition chances when turnovers happen at the Blue Line. Swedes can score, and USA should pot 2+ without much problem. I see 5.5 with heavy juice, and 6's at even at a few offshores.
Neither Lean is strong (too many variables with little data/history to look at), and I'd bet just for action, or maybe to set up a parlay or two for the "Big Game" (assuming Canada advances). Intially, Leaning Canada in that rematch, and Under. Hopefully, Joe P bets up the Over to get Under 6.5 at decent juice.

@dubz4dummyz and Team USA would be a deciding factor on that... Imagine Canada/Finland goes OT - think USA tanks against Sweden so they get to face them again in the Final, screwing Canada??? I doubt it, but ya never know...
Or that the Americans didn't want to face Canada again in the rematch.
