February 1st

Welp, went to bed thinking I had a good shot at a 2-0 night only for the Coyeti's to blow a 2 goal lead in the 3rd to make it a 1-1 night, but was first positive ROI in over 3 weeks.  I'll take it.

I kinda feel like there are three mini-seasons inside the 82 game Regular NHL Season:  Opening Night thru New Years; New Years thru ASG/4Nations/whatever else is on the horizon; and then the final stretch for Playoff positioning, and the race to Wild Cards.  Need to find what is of more value in each of those sub-seasons, as I had success in the 1st, but got torpedoed in the current one.

Gonna stay light until after the International festivities, but I do like Tittsburgh, Isles, and Mild today.  BOL to all.

I'm a Wings fan and was hoping Utah was going to win that game. Last I looked it was 2-0 with I think 12 minutes to go.

Dog days of winter...and I DO MEAN DOG days...I find that from Christmas to AllStar break, I lose my arse and it's because Dogs bark. I think the established teams "take some nights off" in preparation of the final run. Just gotta find the teams that are making the runs..
