Thx Bud - BOL To you as well. Spot on assessment as well. It was similar to the Islanders series against my Canes. They tried too hard to play physical, and the more talented team let them take penalty after penalty, and took 'em out in 6.

Nothing is easy money. FLA at +120 is just good value off the bad 3P meltdown loss, and having Bob not be able to bail them out. That was wake up call IMO for them to not be as sloppy with puck. I thought FLA had equally good scoring chances in that game, along with several posts, but 7 PP's against almost any team is like spotting them a goal or two. Expect more discipline tonight, and maybe an extra PP from the refs for the Cats as well to balance out the lopsided PP/SH ratio of game 1.
I do find it amusing how all these guys touch and shove, instead of just going at it. Where the fuck are the days of Broadstreet Bullies...??? That cluster fuck of a fracas at end of 3rd should have been a 6 fight donnybrook, with gloves and helmets and teeth all over the ice. Not one player dropped gloves, and 42 minutes of penalties. Sad. We dropped gloves at least once a season in Over 40 Beer League, and half those guys had cages.

GL tonight D...and can you see why I avoid the forum during the finals like the plague, geez it gets bad. Spent Thursday-Sunday at Streamsong in Florida. Nice place, good courses but does carry a higher than usual price tag.

Sure looks like it. I think Maurice has to do something. They're getting outplayed in general, so hard to lay it all on Bob, but change of Goalie can maybe get them more focused in their D Zone. Gotta stop gripping their sticks so tight when they shoot - they look like my Canes in the last round. Can't get it btwn the pipes.
