to all the van fans that have lost a family member - be it my dad a passionate hockey fan and nuck fan and to all other families that lost a nuck fan b4 they could see this....well the bieksa goal vs sj sharks. weird bounces that go our way. the board bounces van gets. hell maybe they whipser in luongo's ear where the puck is going.
sure seems like the ghosts are there in boston. open net chances by van has the puck hopping over their sticks...
yes i know this is a trivial topic but none more so than many of the reasons for picks i have seen for boston backers.
seems to me the idiot media has made the fans and esp non fans give them 'reasons' to back boston.
the media has taken the game itself which has been pretty decent and instead they focus on thelma and louise. burrows biting, nucks flopping, luongo vs thomas. clearly the media has made van to be the bad guy and the worst part is many of the non fans eat this shit up like great pizza.
instead of boston stat of winning by what a 5:1 per minute adv (who cares? when they have a big 1p or 2p lead against a disinterested nuck team)
or how about boston outscoring van what 200-5? this isn't fukin' soccer - i didn't know the aggregate made a difference
here to me is the difference and it sure is not statistical but bare (bear) fundamentals

NOT surprising the home team has won
van worked hard all year to get this adv for a reason.
boston ice a little slower and the bounces off the board are less active than the nuck boards by a mile. this is important - just see the maxim goal where the puck came off the boards pretty much a set play and the puck sat down on the ice...as opposed to the puck jumping over sedin's stick on the same play - ....and again with thomas leaving a wide open cage!
both teams have won with proper last change adv. in vancouver they get sedin line off of chara...huge diff in this series.
more board adv. nucks know their home ice they have set plays where they use the boards to their favour.
van has been the more aggressive hitting team at home esp edler.
i will give boston the blue collar award for the best efforts and work ethic in this series by a country mile.
seems van laid down every time in boston when trailing
home ice adv with the last change is the reason for the home teams winning.
