Gotta give credit where credit is due
tortarella is definitely a part of why the rangers are here, he insisted on defense and blocking shots! I'm not saying the rangers would be here if torts was still coaching NY. I Just think he deserves some credit

Torts hated Kreids. Which is why he is still considered a rookie in what....his 3rd year? Guy was bounced up and down from Hartford every other week.

Rangers would not be here...it's all Sather...he picked the coaches...filled out the rosters...made the trade and picked the coach who has motivated players tortarella couldn't

Ok so if Av inherits this team 3 yrs ago, we are playing for the cup that year??? I don't think so!!! So TORTS style of defense has nothing to do with what the rangers defense is today?? Av didn't inherit a team that was a good defensive ranger team??

And for sather, how fast we forget that ranger fans wanted his head not long ago. But I know winning makes people forget. And I guess AV is a f_cking genius, to have these guys in a cup in 6 months time!!

LOL Torts is a mental patient. Him and Vigs switch teams and what happens? Vigs goes to the finals while Torts drags a solid team to the basement while making a fool of himself on a daily basis. He's a media hore and a joke.
