The current leader in the Streak Survivor contest sits at 15 consecutive winners and is two wins away from winning a grand. Then for his 16th pick, he selects the over 6 in a bloody preseason NHL game between Minnesota and Dallas today. Fact of the matter is that on his way to 15 straight winners, he hadn't played or selected an NHL game at all. Wtf possessed this guy to suddenly select an NHL preseason game when he had an abundance of MLB and NFL games to choose from today, the two sports which got him to this point in the first place.
Gotta wonder about the validity of this contest altogether.

Pincher10 lucked out a week ago when he obtained a push in a meaningless NHL preseason game. I thought for sure he learned his lesson and would shift gears, thereby opting to select a game from another meaningful sport (ie: MLB, NFL, NCAAF) to pursue his 16th consecutive win, putting him a victory away from win #17 and a $1000. Nope.....he's back at it again this afternoon, choosing to select the over 5.5 in an NHL meaningless preseason game (again) between Nashville and Carolina and it's going to cost him, thereby ending his streak in the Streak Survivor contest. What's odd about this is that in the course of his 15 consecutive wins, he selected 14 MLB contests and 1 NFL game. For whatever reason, he's decided to go the NHL preseason route now and it'll put an and to his streak.

"They never learn" as the saying goes.
