No trade call yet, but MIN and ARI are working to finalize a trade involving Martin Hanzal.

Assuming ARI trade of Hanzal to MIN gets finalized, I'm hearing lots of draft picks will be involved.


Hearing Hanzal and White are part of the deal.

Wild are loaded with young talent in the farm and on current roster. I don't think they're risking there future giving up a very late 1st round pick for a proven goal scorer. People hold to much weight on Draft picks these days. Especially when it's one of the top teams in the league giving up the 1st rounder.

I am no expert on the draft and who's who in the juniors, but seems a general consensus that this years draft is a bit weak, so this might be the year to deal top-picks easier.

So with the prospects Wild has, I agree they are not risking their future for a single run this year.
