Hockey betting advice

Whenever my sports book always offers a favorite no matter how big of money line favorite at -1 puck line  why would I ever bet the Moneyline and lay 180 to make 100 when for instance last night I could bet Vancouver -1+188 on the puck line??? I am new to betting hockey but this puck line Seems like a very good bet especially with the push in play. I’ve done very well in my first few weeks of betting the puck line. My book never has the half point attached which to me is a major advantage keeping the push in play just as I did on the blues last night. Am I just having beginners luck or is this that good of a deal that my book always has minus one? I know only good for 60 min. Thx

Like tonight- Vegas -210ML, Puck Line -1 +105

 

Sounds like that's the puckline in regulation, meaning you'd push if your team wins by 1 in regulation, but lose if it goes to OT no matter what. I'd prefer a regulation line bet over that one depending on the line you can get. A regular -1 line would likely be around -130

Ok yeah they’re regulation only. Tonight it’s Vegas -104 -1 not +105. 

Predators are +130 -1 in Regulation. Seems like great bet vs laying 160 on ML.  We will see 

It’s a way to reduce juice only. I love them. It’s akin to -1.5, but they don’t have to win by two. It’s a push if they only win by one.
