Hey guys, I'm curious how most of you guys decide on making your final plays. It seems like many on here are glued to a team, regardless of the price you are laying to get it. Personally, I would take either team if the price is right.
For example -
I might take team A if -130 and under or team B if +150 and over.
The reason I am asking is because hockey is like baseball betting, it's such a grind over the long season and for the most part side betting is done on a strictly Money Line basis. (even for puck lines) This isn't like the nba where you can pick 10 sides a night at -110.
I see so many people on here with positive records in the 60% range who do nothing but lay juice in 95% of their games. Do you guys turn a profit doing this? I'm not talking shit by any means, I'm truly just curious if you make money by doing this over the course of the entire season, instead of having a nice "record" to look at.

I've just been betting overs and team totals only if they are at 2.5.
Research is very easy; look at past history between teams in the building they are playing...do the same for goalies...check out relevant trends and place the bet.
Just doing that for yesterday I saved money by not betting the Jets-TB over because of Pavelec stats in TB.
Sharks TT was over 2.5 but juiced at -165. Looking at Dallas record in b2b, along with the fact Lethonen had given up at least 3 goals in his last 5 game that he played b2b...it seemed well worth the risk.

team total overs overs dogs (especially at home) short favourites pucklines regulation plays
in that order
so I start the day out looking for potential teamtotal overs, then overs, have a look at some nice priced dogs ... do some research on stats and such then make my plays

I wish Pinny would have alternate team totals like they do on their regular totals, bump all those juiced 2.5s up to a 3. And also they should allow you to parlay team totals with other plays too like WilliamHills

teams at home regardless of how good or bad they are always solid vs. the visiting team that has played b2b or 3 games in 4 nights. hockey is an incredibly grueling sport and fatigue is much more evident in b2b's compared to the nba
