I like the Isles tonight

I've been ccccolddd on my NHL picks lately, LOL but I like the Isles tonight....

Tampa looked on a mission the other night vs a very tired and lethargic Isles team and dominated them. This is still a Barry Trotz coached team and he will have them ready for Game 2. As unimpressive as their goaltending has been of late I expect Varlamov to bounce back tonight and play well. The Isles have played well in these playoffs apart from Game 1 in this series and I expect them to get back on track...

Tampa is too stacked even without Stamkos to lose this series but the Isles are definitely good for a game or MAYBE 2 and the Lippsman Split Theory is in effect tonight. The public will be all over Tampa after Game 1 as well making this a good spot for the books. I'm tempted to take the UNDER 5 as well but under 5 is always a tricky proposition - but again - after game 1 the public will likely pound the Over....

The problem is, Tampa doesn’t care if the “public” is on them or it’s an opportunity for “Vegas” to cash in. Tampa is no joke. They’re not going to give up the game because of the public or Vegas lol. Game 2 will be there’s. There’s a small chance islanders will take game 3 or 4 BARELY in OT in a high scoring affair but for sure Tampa’s all business today as usual. After Last year’s playoff sweep , they ain’t taking anY chances 

The Islanders will not win a game in this series until the third or fourth game but they will win one it’s just a matter of time but I don’t think it’s game two
