They aint good. Sometimes team trick us by winning games despite none of the underlying stuff making sense that they won. The Ducks allow the 2nd most opportunities in the league and only NYR and OTT create less chances on the other end. They aren't a good team and they have terrible possession metrics. Hard to win games consistently that way...or at all, really.

Ducks are probably the worst team in the NHL by actual play but they also have quite possibly the best goalie in the league in Gibson....

absolutely. without "Johnny Goalie" Gibson the Ducks would have a WORSE record than their neighbors the LA Kings
