Is going home , look out Broadway
When I saw that, I walked up to the window and put in DAL -1 thinking VAN would be out of sorts. They weren't. They played a pretty good game, but they really could have used JT out there tonight.

@Ju_lie
Complete opposite to me
Miller contract could look bad in 2 years...it takes him til he 38
Petey much younger and playing injured..keeps the window open longer than if we kept Miller
Needed miller outta the locker room...didnt get good value but it was necessary...
That exact core of players wasn't winning cup anyways, last year was an anomaly...had the quick start and our shooting numbers were way too high to maintain

Considering the issues with Miller off the ice, Nuks got about what the market was going to offer. Chytil is a coin flip, as he has talent, but he has struggled with injuries, so not close to a 1:1 for JT, but he also had to play on the Bottom 6 in NY. I would hope that the Nuks use the 2025 1st Rd pick as trade bait for another move, either now or off-season.
Honestly, this is about as good as a trade that Vancougar could get with the situation the way it is. Agree with dubz that it was necessary, and hopefully clears the way for this team to get somewhere in the next few years...

It just seems Miller has a bit of a rep. as a 'distraction' ? in the locker room , I think I read somewhere that this was part of the reason he was traded out of NY before. As far as a return the Canucks were in a bad spot , everyone knew that things were bad and that they had to do something. Now I see they have made another trade with the Pens.
Good to see you're still hanging around Jules

Sorry played Poker into the wee hours of the night, so not up to speed on all activity. Wish I had bet the Over 1.5 on # of Pettersens on the Canuks roster this year...

Good riddance. Miller is a sickness. Just like marner. Anybody who actually knows hockey and the people in it, they know this.
Same shit with that loser Blake Wheeler when he got dolled out to NY.

Rangers certainly should be better with Miller right now, but let's see in a year or two. Chytil is younger and still finding his way but a chance in Vancouver with more playing time might just help.
I'll wait and see if the talented Miller is back or if this is just an adrenaline fueled dead cat bounce before passing judgement.
