I have to agree that the west is stronger 1 through 8 but they aren't a lock to win it all imo.
2010 Chi was a heavy fav against Philly and that series almost went the distance. When a lot of people were saying Chi would sweep or 5 games at the most.
2011 Van was a big fav against Bos and they could've almost been swept. Thomas played lights out and great goaltending wins games.
2013 Chi was a fav to win it all. Bos has a melt down in game 6 like Tor did in round one (against Bos) or we are going to game 7.
Anybody that has played this game knows that you play the game on the ice not paper.
Just hope the West kicks the chit outta each other and every series goes 7 games with a few double OT's games 
It's unlikely the Wings make it...but the East is such a toss up and wide open. Their is only one team in the East that is a true Stanley Cup contender and that's the Bruins. But as everyone knows, anything can happen.
