Really, 3 goals in the playoffs and gets MVP. Now granted he did get 21 points for the playoffs, so definitely not taking anyway from him.

Crawford was good but not unbelievable.(also this is for the entire playoffs as you know)

Keith deserved it in my opinion he was solid basically every game and held together the defense.  he also produced offensively and logged and absurd amount of playing time.  Crawford bounced back from a rough start and i give him a ton of credit for that.

by the way Toews produced quite a bit in the Anaheim series he tailed off in the Stanley Cup points wise but his play and leadership is invaluable.

Sorry Mr. Lippsman. I had to address that black mark on the Blackhawks.

I think if Keith hadn't scored the winning goal tonight, it most definitely would've been awarded to Crawford. With all the minutes he played and never seeming to run out of gas, while also covering up mistakes of some of the other D- Men, and also scoring, it's hard not to give it to a role player. LRR also brought up a good point that Crawford did have his moments in the Preds, Series, but rebounded even stronger, but I'm sure some voters still remember his getting chased off the ice after giving up 3 quick goals. Ironically, had Lil Darling not done the same, we may never have seen Crow again in the Playoffs

Either one would have been well deserving of the Conn Smythe, and it's kind of refreshing to see a Defenseman win it

Conn Smythe is for the entire playoffs. Crawford had some rough games. Hell, he was benched in the Peds series. Sure, he came up strong toward the end, but Keith was far more consistent throughout. He deserved it.

Hey Sco316, IF Patty Kane did NOT have the "supporting cast" on the Blackhawks like Toews, Sharp, Hossa, Shaw and Saad he would be another Thomas Vanek. my REAL problem with the guy is about cap space money. just do NOT think he is a worth almost $14 million a year the next three years. Blackhawks will probably lose some top "producers" like UFA&#x27;s Johnny Oduya, Brad Richards and Antoine Vermette because of that. could even lose RFA Brandon Saad IF some team was to make a "takeout offer" Rocky Wirtz could NOT match because of cap space. BOTH Saad AND Shaw are more "complete players" that can do it ALL compared to Kane who is a "one trick pony"
