yup it’s when you don’t have money that’s when you win. I said I woulda put my life on the rangers and they were the better team game 1 and to bet them game 2. I’m actually starting to feel like I’m going crazy like when I bet no matter what I will lose and no matter what when o don’t bet I will win just to make me mad and go broke. It’s happened my entire life there is a game or a few games that r juicy AF but I just don’t have a dollar to my name. Honestly it’s not only from no bankroll management it’s honestly from not working a full time job and only getting gig work where I am. You can be the best gambler in the world but if I’m only making under 20,000 a year with a family it’s a hard life . I gotta man the fk up work 60 hours a week and come back when I have at least 20,000 and an actual idea of how not to lose every week

Working 20 weeks out of the year doesn’t cut it

I also thought about starting a recruiting firm I heard there is gigantic money in that. All you do is find niche tech positions and cold call. I know it can’t be to easy but I’ve got to figure out what to do bc being 36 and broke my entire life just isn’t fun anymore. I’ve failed at everything I’ve ever done. Any pointers on how I can make a nice weekly working for myself please inquire. I’m not afraid to do hard labor so please know that to and I am not afraid to cook lmk

i am 37 years old, single no family, have a million dollars worth of stocks... just a cheap person at heart and always saved... worked a year doing 70 hours a week, work 40 hours now... not sure how the f you work 20 hours a week with a family... i am also in NY

 Go into the Trade Industry - Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical.  Just paid a Plumber $5K to remove old and install new shower tub combo.  Took him less than a day.

Tub cost = $800

Shower Door (customized) = $1200

Misc Plumbing (pipes, solder, Shark-Bite fittings etc.) = $200 (my estimate)

You do the math on his profit (minus his OH costs).  He probably cleared $1500 in 1 day.

Gonna be a shortage of competent members of those Industries in the years to come cuz everyone thinks College is only way to get a good job.  I got a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science at a very good school.  31 years later I am now working in Aerospace Industry managing a group of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers with Masters and PhD's.  My degree did not get me this job, nor did it matter as I got promoted thru the ranks.  Hard work, good business judgement, and a fuck-ton of OJT and listening to my Mentors on how to continue to get promoted.

Good luck - you are making a very good decision to try and get your shit together.  You absolutely can do this.  BOL.

 Thank you guys , ya I was doing some handyman work with cartridges and faucet replacement but it’s hard to get any customers so that fell through. Let me know if u have any opinions on being a handyman
